See what I can help with
If you are a constituent in Birmingham Northfield and you are experiencing difficulties then please contact me if you think I can assist. I am here to help and represent you, and I will assist if I can.
Please note that Parliament operates under a strict code which means that I can only take up issues on behalf of people who live in the constituency. You can click here to check if I am your MP.
What I can help with
MPs can help to make representations to public bodies on your behalf when you aren’t getting the right treatment, such as:
- DWP
- HMRC
- The Home Office
- Birmingham City Council
Please include any reference numbers that you hold, and copies of correspondence from those bodies if you have them.
Councillors are also elected to hold Birmingham City Council to account and they should be contacted in the first instance on council matters. You can find and contact your councillors here.
I might also be able to raise policy issues in Parliament. You can read more here.
Surgeries
I hold regular surgeries across the constituency. Please contact me and include your postal address and a summary of the issue to request an appointment.
A member of the team will be in touch. Many problems can be resolved faster over the phone or by email and my staff may make suggestions on the best way of taking a matter forward.
